Back in 2017 I bought what the seller claimed to be a Bottecchia vintage steel racing bicycle.
He had stripped the original paint - and rust, powder coated it, fitted it with Shimano RX100 7 speed groupset, Shimano M50T brakes and new Vittoria Zaffiro pro 700x25c tyres.
It took a while to get used to the gearing as it was the first time I used the break handles for switching gears - pushing them to the side - to gear up.
